It was sent from the Chinese terminal of Xi'an, according to a message on the website of the Azerbaijani leader.The train of 60 containers covered a distance of 7,000 km in 11 days. According to the agreements, it is planned to send 10 container trains from Kazakhstan through Azerbaijan on a monthly basis. Cargo can be tracked in real time mode using the Track and Trace system.The report notes that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan plan to increase freight transportation by rail in 2024. In January-February 2024, the volume of rail freight between the two countries increased by 25% to 539,500 tonnes year-on-year.Currently, cargo from China via Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to the Black Sea ports is delivered in 18 days (versus 53 days in the past).“Today, as part of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan, we discussed issues related to the transport and logistics sector.
