The Royal Government of Cambodia has raised $58.26 million through government bond issuance in 2023, accounting for 29% of the country's maximum limit of $200 million. The government issued bonds in the first primary market through the National Bank of Cambodia Auction Platform (NBCP). This year marks the third year of government securities issuance, with a target of issuing KHR 440 billion in 2024, equivalent to $108 million.
