Yokohama Rubber arriva nel paese con impianto di produzioneMexico, March 20, 2024.- Yokohama Rubber Co., announced that it will build a passenger car tire plant in Mexico to strengthen its ability to supply tires to the North American market.The new plant will be located in the Alianza Industrial Park, in Saltillo, Coahuila, and will have access to a major railway line and a highway that will facilitate the timely supply of tires to customers throughout North America. It will have an annual production capacity of 5 million tires, with a planned capital investment totaling $380 million.Construction of the new plant will begin in the second quarter of 2024, after the country's elections, and production is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
