BIDDERS GET MORE TIME FOR KEY MARJAN OFFSHORE TENDER

Saudi Aramco’s Long-Term Agreement (LTA) pool of contractors has been given more time to prepare bids for a key tender involving the upgrade of infrastructure at the Marjan offshore oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia. The tender sits as number 130 on Aramco’s Contracts Release and Purchase Order (CRPO) system, and is estimated to be worth $1.9bn. LTA entities have now been set a deadline of 15 April for submission of technical bids, along with their In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) credentials, for CRPO 130, and 18 April for submission of commercial bids. The previous technical + IKTVA and commercial bid submission deadlines were 10 March and 15 March, respectively. The scope of work on CRPO 130 entails engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the following units: Gas oil separation plants 2 and 3 at Marjan offshore oil field development Gas compression and gas lift facilities Installation of storage facilities. Aramco’s LTA pool of offshore service providers comprises the following entities:   Saipem (Italy) McDermott International (US) Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering (India) / Subsea 7 (UK) Dynamic Industries (US) National Petroleum Construction Company (UAE) Lamprell (UAE/UK) / Royal Boskalis Westminster (Netherlands) Sapura Energy (Malaysia) Technip Energies (France) / MMHE (Malaysia) China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (China) Hyundai Heavy Industries (South Korea)    (ICE RIYADH)
