The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that in February 2024 the unemployment rate in Poland was at 5.4 %, remaining unchanged compared with the preceding month, and the figure is lower than market expectations of 5.5 %. As noted by the GUS, there were 845,300 people registered with employment agencies, compared with 837,100 in February 2024, which represents an increase by 8,200 while y/y the figure dropped by 19,500.
