We eagerly anticipate his upcoming state visit to Kazakhstan in early July,” Tokayev said at a meeting with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress."We are confident that under the wise leadership of President Xi Jinping, all important goals will be fully achieved. We deeply appreciate Mr. Xi Jinping’s personal contribution to enhancing good neighborly relations, nurturing centuries-old friendship, and fostering an enduring comprehensive strategic partnership between our nations. Together, we have established highly effective interstate cooperation in all areas,” Tokayev said.The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that all efforts of the parties are directed towards bringing Kazakh-Chinese relations to a new level."In general, fostering friendly and cooperative relations with China remains our utmost priority. We are aligning all government departments to closely collaborate with their counterparts in the People's Republic of China to advance our comprehensive strategic partnership. During my recent address, I highlighted specific examples showcasing our cooperation, including the growth in trade and increased Chinese investment in our economy. Undoubtedly, these efforts are of paramount importance,” Tokayev said.Zhao Leji, in turn, acknowledged the dynamic development of bilateral relations.“First, allow me to convey President Xi Jinping's sincere greetings and best wishes to you. I also extend a warm welcome to you at the annual Boao Forum for Asia in China. our participation demonstrates that you pay special attention to the development of Chinese-Kazakh relations and provide great support to the Forum’s activities,”  he said."Last year, President Xi Jinping and yourself, Mr. President, held meetings in Xi’an and Beijing. During these meetings, ambitious plans were laid out for the development of bilateral relations. The Chinese side is prepared to work closely with their Kazakh counterparts to implement the important agreements reached by the heads of state, thereby strengthening political trust and deepening practical cooperation in pursuit of strategic goals,” Zhao Leji said.During the talks, the parties extensively discussed enhancing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as reviewed the progress of joint projects in transportation, industry, tourism, and other areas.
