Manufacturer prices for industrial products in EAEU surged by 17.8% year-over-year - EECManufacturer prices for industrial products in the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 17.8% in February year-over-year, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reported on Thursday.“The industrial producer price index for the Eurasian Economic Union in February 2024 compared to February 2023 amounted to 117.8%,” the report says.It is reported that an increase in producer prices in the mining and quarrying industry was recorded in Belarus (by 47.7%), Kazakhstan (by 5%), Kyrgyzstan (by 8.7%) and Russia (by 46.4%), while in Armenia they decreased (by 0.9%).In the manufacturing industry, the maximum increase in producer prices was noted in Russia (by 15.1%); by type of activity: electricity supply, gas supply, steam and air conditioning - in Kyrgyzstan (by 27.5%); by type of activity: water supply, sewer system, waste collection and disposal in Kyrgyzstan (by 26.9%).
