The CEO of Seojin Mobility, Byung Hyuk Kang, highlighted the strategic importance of this investment, which will not only boost the local market, but will also strengthen collaboration with assemblers such as Hyundai and Kia Mexico, generating more than 300 jobs once production begins.The decision to establish the plant in Monterrey, specifically in Escobedo, was based on several factors, including the strategic location with the United States and the quality of labor available in the region. Initially, an investment of US$160 million is estimated, which will include research and development (R&D) and production machinery, with the possibility of a second stage that could increase the investment to US$260 million.
