UKRAINE HAS ALREADY EXPORTED MORE THAN 36 MILLION TONS OF GOODS THROUGH THE SEA CORRIDOR AND LAUNCHED CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION.

More than 36 million tons of cargo have been exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor since August 2023. This is higher than the indicators from the Grain Initiative for the year of its existence. 1,286 ships have already passed through the Ukrainian corridor, exporting 25 million tons of agricultural products to the countries of Asia, Africa, and Europe. 135 ships are waiting to approach the ports, which are expected to export four million tons of cargo. A record 195,700 tons were exported from the Pivdennyi Seaport on the bulk carrier CAPTAIN LEONIDAS under the Panamanian flag. It became the largest ship to have entered Ukrainian ports since the beginning of the war. At the same time, on April 3, the first container ship, the T Mare, also under Panama's flag, passed through the sea corridor to the port of Chornomorsk. On April 4, the ship had already set off on its return journey to Constanta (Romania). (ICE LEOPOLI)
