POLAND'S FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT FALLS IN 2023
According to preliminary data of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) the inflow of foreign direct investments (FDI) to Poland fell 16.3 percent year on year to PLN 120.6 billion (EUR 28.2 bln) in 2023. The largest direct investments came from the Netherlands, the UK, the US, Spain and Germany. In the case of these countries, this was associated with high reinvested profits, at times coupled with significant transactions in equity instruments. The largest capital outflows were to Italy and China, driven by debt repayments. (ICE VARSAVIA)
