The Polish Chamber of Insurance (PIU) has reported that in 2023, Polish companies insured turnover worth PLN911.3bn, a figure that corresponds to ca. 29.3 % of the value of the Polish economy last year. As noted by the PIU, last year policies covered domestic turnover in a total amount of more than PLN701.4bn, compared with PLN552.8bn in 2022 and less than PLN331bn in 2015. Meanwhile, insured export turnover amounted to PLN209.9bn, compared with PLN158bn a year earlier and PLN100.7bn in 2015. (ICE VARSAVIA)
