It is planned to introduce 180 projects worth 1.5 trillion tenge, creating 17,800 jobs,” the Minister of Industry said during a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.Tokayev was also informed about the introduction of the digital platform E-Qazyna.kz for conducting auctions for subsoil use rights in electronic format, which significantly increased their transparency and accessibility. “Participation in the auctions by major global companies, including Rio Tinto and Fortescue, indicates growing competition for the opportunity to explore potentially resource-rich deposits in Kazakhstan,” the report notes.
