Pekabex Bet, a subsidiary of Pekabex, a leader in modern system construction in Poland, has signed an agreement with Ionway Poland for the construction of a factory producing storage battery components in Nysa in Opolskie Province. The plant will create 900 new jobs and it will produce cathode active materials used in electric vehicle batteries. The value of the deal is ca. PLN318.8m, which represents 19 percent of the Pekabex group’s revenue reported in the last annual consolidated financial statements, i.e. PLN1.678bn in 2022. (ICE VARSAVIA)
