According to Crunchbase, the situation among innovative start-ups is dramatic as in 2024 the level of financing is the second lowest since 2018 and the number of transactions is declining too. The company also notes that venture capital funds are losing interest in risky investments, and without an inflow of capital start-ups find themselves on the brink. Meanwhile, a survey conducted by Antal and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) shows that innovative start-ups face primarily such challenges as raising funds to invest and a lack of funds for operating activities.
