WORLD BANK RAISES POLISH GROWTH FORECAST

The World Bank increased its annual GDP growth forecast for Poland to 3 percent in 2024 from 2.6 percent projected earlier, primarily on the back of the recovery in private consumption, supported by such factors as decelerating inflation, real wage growth, tight labour markets as well as higher social transfers and benefits. The 2025 growth forecast for Poland remained unchanged at 3.4 percent compared to the Bank’s previous projections. (ICE VARSAVIA)
