Kazakh National Bank keeps base rate on hold as expectedKazakh National Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee keeps the base rate at 14.75% per annum, with a corridor of +/-1 percentage points,  the regulator's press service said."Annual inflation continued to decrease in February and March, although at a slower pace. While inflation expectations have slightly decreased, they continue to remain high. To reach the 5% inflation target, we need to keep monetary conditions moderately tight.
