IMF maintains Kazakhstan's 2024 GDP growth outlook at 3.1%, slightly lowers 2025 outlook to 5.6%The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has kept the economic growth outlook for Kazakhstan in 2024 at 3.1%, according to the April World Economic Outlook.However, the IMF lowered the outlook for 2025 by 0.1% to 5.6%.The IMF expects inflation in Kazakhstan to come in at 8.7% in 2024 and at 7% in 2025.The current account deficit of Kazakhstan's balance of payments is projected at 4.5% of GDP in 2024 and at 2.7% of GDP in 2025.In 2023, Kazakhstan’s GDP expanded by 5.1%, inflation stood at 9.8%.
