PRIVATE LABELS ATTRACT CONSUMERS

A survey conducted by Consumer Panel Services GfK shows that in 2023, private labels increased their market share by 1.3 percentage points to 22.6 percent, the company’s Managing Director, notes that already one in four consumers plan to increase their spending on private label products. According to the executive, this sends a clear signal to manufacturers that there is room for further dynamic growth in this category and for a steady increase in demand. Commenting on the matter, Chief Commercial Officer at Biedronka, notes that many private label products achieve market shares that pose a threat to category leaders or even outperform them, including the Dada brand.
