Saudi Arabia-based contractor Saudi Real Estate Construction Company, also known as Tamear, has won a $42m contract for the construction of the Tilal Al Riyadh mixed-use project in Riyadh. The scope of work includes implementation of civil, structural, architectural, electromechanical and external works. The project will be built over an area of 54,769 sq m in the Al Malqa district of Riyadh. Tamear is a subsidiary of Saudi Real Estate Company (Al Akaria). The contract duration is two years from the start date of construction. In November, Al Akaria awarded a $76m contract for the development of its Al-Reef residential project in Riyadh to Tamear. The scope of the contract includes the civil, structural, architectural, electro-mechanical and external works for the residential complex located in Riyadh's diplomatic quarter. (ICE RIYADH)
