THREE BERYTECH PROGRAMS TOOK PART IN HORECA LEBANON

Three Berytech programs have recently taken part in this year’s 28th edition of HORECA Lebanon. Theseprograms are the Food System Challenge, Agritech and Clyntech.  In details, the Food System Challenge showcased its role in enhancing the agriculture and agrifood sectors  through the supporting of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The program held an exhibition at HORECA  Lebanon displaying innovations and products from its winning participants, emphasizing the program’s  commitment to sustainable solutions. The event took place over four days with attendees being encouraged  to apply for the program’s upcoming challenge. This comes with a chance to benefit from a tailored package  of business development services, technical assistance and financial support in order to grow long-termsolutions in the agriculture and agrifood sectors. The display also highlighted the program’s focus onbroadening its impact within the subsectors of the agrifood industry.  It is worth noting that the Food System Challenge is implemented by the World Food Program (WFP) in  cooperation with Berytech and with funding from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation  and Development (BMZ) through the WFP.  Looking at the Clyntech and Agrytehc programs, various activities and initiatives were undertaken during  the four-day gathering paving the way for potential partnerships and driving industry-wide innovation. A  dynamic panel was held which explored the transformative power of open innovation within the agrifood  and distribution sectors and gave insight into the latest trends and emerging technologies. This provided  attendees with a perspective on the industry’s evolution. The panel also tackled the power of change within  these fields and dove into how innovation can optimize the operational activities and enhance customer  experiences. The team also held meetings with key stakeholders from the agrifood and cleantech sectors  to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships to promote the open innovation mindset within these  industries.
