The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology has announced that it has abandoned investing in the production of active pharmaceutical substances in Poland adding that the decision is due to delays in the preparation of reforms and investments by the deadline set, i.e. 30 June 2026. The ministry also emphasized that it was open to dialogue with the pharmaceutical industry and that it would seek solutions to develop API production capabilities in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
