The International Monetary Fund (IMF) concludes its nearly two-week visit to Vilnius, advising Lithuania to undertake structural reforms, particularly in the pension system due to population aging. IMF mission chief Borja Gracia suggests broadening the tax base by increasing corporate income tax, expanding real estate and pollution taxation, and eliminating certain tax breaks to bolster revenue collection.
