Accordingly, during the transition period there is a high probability of failures and negative experiences,” the message says.In this regard, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan re-negotiated with the International Telecommunication Union and “it was decided to leave the international code +7 unchanged.”“In this regard, the issue has been worked out with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation on concluding a new Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the use of numbering of the 7th world numbering zone. Currently, it is expected to receive a Note from the Russian Federation on approval of the project ", the message said.The Ministry of Digital Development announced the transition to a new international dialing code on the communication networks of the republic in September 2021. The ministry planned that Kazakhstan would begin the transition to the new national code +997 from January 2023.
