Kazakhstan foreign trade positive balance grew by 18.4% in Jan-April 2024The positive balance of foreign trade of Kazakhstan in January-April 2024 grew by 18.4% to $7.816 billion YoY, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said in a statement.The republic's foreign trade turnover in the reporting period decreased by 3.6%, to $43.322 billion. Exports dropped by 0.5% to $25.569 billion, imports declined by 7.8% to $17.753 billion.Exports to the EAEU countries in the reporting period decreased by 21.1% to $2.835 billion, imports dropped by 6.5% to $5.337 billion.The largest share in the total volume of foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EAEU countries, fell on Russia - 91%, Kyrgyzstan - 5.8%, Belarus - 3.1% and Armenia - 0.1%.
