DBK to allocate 450 bln tenge to KazAvtoZhol for roads’ modernization in KazakhstanDevelopment Bank of Kazakhstan JSC will finance an investment project to restore national roads with a total length of more than 5,000 km, the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan reported.“Long-term loan funds in the amount of 450 billion tenge will be allocated to NC KazAvtoZhol JSC under the relevant agreement. The implementation of these projects is planned for the period 2024-2027,” the statement published on Thursday says.The investment project will be implemented throughout Kazakhstan. It is planned to restore both highways of republican significance and roads connecting regional centers with populated areas of the regions. Along with this, emergency culvert bridges will be reconstructed. It is also planned to launch an automated system for measuring the weight and dimensional parameters of vehicles on restored road sections.The Development Bank of Kazakhstan (a subsidiary of Baiterek National Management Holding JSC) is a national development institute specializing in the financing and development of large-scale infrastructure and industrial facilities in Kazakhstan.
