Aira, a company committed to making clean energy-tech accessible and affordable for millions of homes, has opened a heat pump factory in Wrocław, creating 200 jobs. The production plant is situated in the facilities formerly occupied by Volvo Buses, which shut down production last year. So fair Aira has invested ca. EUR60m in the Wrocław plant, with total investment expected to exceed PLN1.27bn over a decade. According to Aira’s representatives, the plant’s production capacity will reach 500,000 heat pumps per year while the number of employees will rise to 2,000. (ICE VARSAVIA)
