On 1 July 2024, the minimum wage increased to PLN4.3k gross, which is ca. PLN3,261 net, and the minimum wage will represent ca. 42% of the average monthly gross wage and salary in national economy, which totaled PLN8,147.38 in Q1 of 2024 according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). On the first day of July the minimum hourly rate went up too, to PLN28.10 gross. The adjustments come as the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy continues to work on implementing the directive on adequate minimum wages in the European Union.
