UKRAINE ATTRACTED $55.8B IN DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

As reported by the Ministry of Economy with reference to the National Bank, the volume of direct foreign investment in Ukraine’s economy as of March 31, 2024, amounted to $55.8B. The largest volumes of direct investment are directed to industrial enterprises – 38.9%, and institutions and organizations engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 17%. The main investor countries include Cyprus – 31.6%, the Netherlands – 20.8%, Switzerland – 4.2%, the UK – 4.8%, Germany – 4.3%, Austria – 3.5%, Luxembourg – 2.7% and France – 2.6%.
