On the sidelines of the Huawei Middle East Commercial Roadshow in Beirut, Huawei noted opennessin bringing technology, products and solutions as well as vertical solutions to deliver to Lebanon in thefuture. This comes as technology experts emphasized the need to develop Lebanon’s Information andCommunication Technology (ICT) infrastructure to support digital transformation in the country.According to the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Group and HuaweiMiddle East, the Company has worked successfully to develop vertical solutions for different industries.The company has built circa 700 smart cities, 5,000 smart hospitals and 6,000 smart educations institutesglobally. This gives the company the experience to help Lebanon looking forward.  According to the Sales Administration Manager at Computer Information Systems, Lebanon’s ICT infrastructure requires strengthening through the adoption of new technologies. In parallel, according to the General Manager of BMB, Huawei could play a significant role in providing these technologies for Lebanon’s various sectors as the company has experience dealing with customers in countries going through crises and with difficulties in payment and recovery.  According to the President of Enterprise Business Group for the Middle East and Central Asia, Huawei could especially help Lebanon in the fields of Government, Education, Financial Services and Healthcare as well as help Lebanon digitalize its public sector enhancing in turn the quality of life for all citizens.
