Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan declined by 3.5% in Jan-June 2024Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan in January-June 2024 dropped by 3.5 % to 6.7 trillion tenge YoY, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.According to statistics, the most attractive industries for investment were the mining and quarrying (23.5% of all fixed capital investment), real estate operations (21.5%), transport and warehousing (16.1%) and manufacturing (9.9%).Investment mostly came from equity capital of the business entities in the amount of 4.788 trillion tenge.The share of state budget funds was 14.5%, bank loans - 4%, other borrowed funds - 9.5%, including 2.7% worth of borrowings from non-residents.
