Tajik president commissions several large enterprises in Dushanbe Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Speaker of the upper house of parliament and Dushanbe Mayor Rustami Emomali have put into operation Zarafshan Jewelry LLC in the capital's Sino district with investment from China, the Tajik presidential press service said.The production facility, which consists of jewellery shops and a gold sales center, is capable of processing up to one tonne of gold per year, it said. Various types of jewellery produced using advanced technologies will be manufactured and offered to customers there in the future.Overall, there are plans to establish four industrial enterprises with 300 new jobs in the same area.The second phase of building TVEA Dushanbe Mining Industry LLC was presented the same day. The new technological line is capable of processing 4,000 tonnes of ore per day, from which gold powder is produced. The total cost of construction was 650 million somoni ($1/10.67 somoni), and 600 new jobs will be created.Rahmon and Emomali inaugurated the second stage of the enterprise producing polypropylene bags, printed circuit boards and diode lamps of Gayur Gurukh LLC on the grounds of the Gayur Gurukh Innovative Technologies Park. The first stage of this enterprise was launched in 2020.The second phase of the enterprise consists of additional lines for the production of polypropylene yarn, fabric sewing, lamination, stencil making, fabric cutting and the installation of automatic valves, thus providing 140 people with permanent jobs. The target is to increase the number of employees to 600 in the near future.The enterprise's production capacity has been raised from 70 million pieces of polypropylene bags to 120 million pieces, the bags with automatic valve using the AD STAR innovative technology fully meeting the needs of the domestic market in the areas of industry, agriculture, chemistry, and so on, thus removing the dependence on foreign packaging products. In addition, the remaining products will be exported.The plant for the production of diode lamps and printed circuit boards consists of automatic, independent lines for printed circuit boards using the surface-mount technology (SMT), painting, mounting and assembly of LED light bulbs, pressing of iron, plastics for light bulbs, and so on.The printed circuit board production line has the capacity to manufacture products not only for diode lamps, but also for more than 150 items of electrical equipment such as refrigerators, air conditioners, TV sets, surveillance cameras, electric meters, as well as for the engineering and furniture industries, which lays the foundation for the development of other industries in the country.The construction of the enterprise will also make it possible to establish a production facility for printed circuit boards and diode lamp parts in the country, which will enable Tajikistan to become one of the largest manufacturers of these products in the Central Asian region.As planned, Gayur Gurukh LLC will establish an enterprise for the production of smartphones, tablets, digital watches, laptops and surveillance cameras in Dushanbe in the near future.
