SAUDI ARAMCO AWARDS $500MN EPC CONTRACT TO SAIPEM

Saipem has been awarded two significant offshore projects in Saudi Arabia, under its existing Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with Saudi Aramco. The combined value of these two projects is approximately $500 million. The first project involves Saipem undertaking the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of a crude trunkline for the Abu Safa Field. This trunkline will span approximately 50 kilometres and have a diameter of 42 inches, highlighting the scale and complexity of the work involved. The second project focuses on the production maintenance programs for the Berri and Manifa Fields. These activities are crucial for ensuring the ongoing efficiency and productivity of these vital oil fields, further emphasising Saipem’s role in maintaining and enhancing Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure. Securing these important projects significantly strengthens Saipem’s presence and positioning in the Middle East, reinforcing its reputation as a key player in the region’s offshore oil and gas sector.
