The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that in June 2024, the average monthly gross wage and salary in the enterprise sector amounted to PLN8,144.83, up by 11% y/y, a figure that is below analysts’ expectation of 11.5% y/y. The statistical office also said that in the previous month, average employment in the enterprise sector had been 0.4%t lower compared with June 2023, standing at 6,484,500 full-time equivalents.
