Michael Clarke, Managing Director for Europe at Wendy’s, a popular American fast food restaurant chain, has said that Wendy’s will open its first restaurant in Poland as soon as it establishes cooperation with franchisees. As noted by Clarke, it usually takes between 12 and 18 months from signing the franchise agreement to opening a restaurant. According to the manager, the reach of the brand in Poland will be determined by the number of franchisees, however, the company believes that there is huge potential to open hundreds of restaurants across Poland over time.
