CERBERUS GETS GREEN LIGHT
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has said that it has unanimously found no grounds to raise an objection to the acquisition of VeloBank by investment funds from the US-based group Cerberus Capital Management, after earlier the deal was cleared by the European Commission. The KNF also noted that in its assessment it had taken into account the planned involvement of two international financial institutions in the deal, i.e. the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group.
