Saudi Arabia's Neom has issued a tender asking contractors to bid for a contract to build The Vault building at the Trojena mountain resort. The notice, called The Vault general contractor, was issued on 11 June and the deadline for submission is 11 November. The Vault will be built vertically inside a hollow mountain that will fold in on itself. It will be 198 metres high, 253 metres wide and 864 metres long. The total surface area of the project is 200,000 square metres. The Vault is the gateway into Trojena, a mountain destination located 50 kilometres from Saudi Arabia's Gulf of Aqaba coast. The development will cover an area of more than 1,400 square kilometres with elevations ranging from 1,500 metres to 2,600 metres above sea level. Fifty-seven square kilometres will be dedicated to the main development. The Vault will have several five- and four-star hotels with a total of 1,000 keys. The project will also have 13,000 square-metres of retail space. In April,   Neom had issued a notice asking contractors to prequalify for a contract to build The Vault building.
