Azimut, a global asset management group, has completed a €105 million investment in Alps Blockchain S.p.A., a leading Italian company in blockchain and digital mining. This investment, made through Azimut Direct Investment Alps Blockchain II SCSp, follows a previous €40 million round in 2023 and supports Alps Blockchain's rapid growth and international expansion. The company has significantly increased its mining capacity, reaching 50 MW and over 2 EH/s of computing power. With revenues soaring from €697,000 in 2020 to €43.6 million in 2023, the funds will be used to further develop operations and explore new markets, including Paraguay, Ecuador, Oman, and North America, emphasizing sustainable energy solutions.
