The dairy industry of the People's Republic of China applies for anti-subsidy investigation into imported dairy products originating from the European Union on July 29th, 2024.. The applicants are Dairy Association of China and China Dairy Industry Association. 10 EU dairy producers have been included in the investigation list, including two Italian companies：Sterilgarda Alimenti and Brazzale S.p.a. Dairy Association of China  and China Dairy Industry Association issued the following statement:"Given that the European Union has provided significant subsidies to its dairy related industry, and the import of heavily subsidized dairy products originating from the EU has caused serious impact and damage to China's dairy industry, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution and relative documents of Dairy Association of China and China Dairy Industry Association, we decide to act as the applicant to initiate an anti-subsidy investigation application against imported dairy products originating from the European Union."
