LEBANESE ALBAYAN SCHOOL ADOPTS NEW POWERSCHOOL SIS

The Lebanese private Albayan School has recently signed a partnership with the American PowerSchoolcloud-based education software provider. This comes in a bid to automate manual processes and reduceduplication. This move would make Albayan School the first in Lebanon to integrate PowerSchool SIS intoits operations. The school is also set to adopt PowerBuddy as well as other PowerSchool products into itssystem.  This partnership comes amid a wider Middle East and North Africa campaign by PowerSchool which hasso far included the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt in parallel to Lebanon. These partnerships hold acommon goal of aiding the achievement of top strategic initiatives such as enhanced communication andstreamlined administrative processes across their communities.  Additionally, schools in the MENA region have increasingly been rethinking their education systems and  modernizing their teaching approaches to cater to personalized education and significantly improve student  outcomes.  According to the Vice General Manager of Albayan Schools in Lebanon, following an assessment, PowerSchool  was identified as an optimal vendor solution aligning with the schools’ education vision. This partnership  came in a bid to enhance administrative processes, streamline communication and support the provision of a  high-quality educational experience for students, teachers and parents.It is worth noting that PowerSchool (NYSE: PWSC) is a provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education inNorth America. The company offers end-to-end product clouds connecting the central office to the classroom.PowerSchool currently supports 60 million students in more than 90 countries and over 18,000 customersincluding more than 90 of the top 100 districts by student enrollment in the United States of America.
