Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has inaugurated the construction of four key chemical and industrial projects in Karbala Industrial City.The projects include:an industrial gases plant (1,000 tons/day);a white oils plant (1,000 m³/day);an organic solvents plant (1,000 m³/day); anda vacuum distillation plant (2,500 tons/day).The new industrial city, strategically located along the Development Road, is part of Iraq's broader plan to boost petrochemical and industrial output, reduce reliance on oil revenues, and create thousands of jobs.
