FIRMS BID FOR MAJOR KUWAIT HOUSING PROJECTS

Companies have submitted bids for the contracts to build four housing and infrastructure network projects in Kuwait's Al-Asimah Governorate.The project developer, Kuwait Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW), received commercial bids from contractors last week.The following companies submitted prices for the construction of 1,608 housing units and associated infrastructure:Real Estate Construction & Fabrication Company (local): ($355.6m) First Group General Trading & Contracting Company (local): $375.9mKhaled Ali Al-Kharafi & Brothers Construction Contracting Company (local): $385.4mSinohydro Corporation (China): $400mUnited Buildings Company (China): $402mChina Gezhouba Group (China): $407mKuzu Grup (Turkiye): $423.7mUnited Gulf Construction Company (local): $424mAlghanim International (local): $473.8mCombined Group Contracting Company (local): $480mContractors have also submitted prices for another project package, which entails the construction of 1,985 housing units and roads and infrastructure networks (BP4 and BP7).
