AgromashHolding KZ set to sign contract with German manufacturer AmazonePresident Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the AgromashHolding KZ localization center and highlighted the significant wear and tear on agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan."The level of wear and tear on equipment nationwide is considerable, with some experts estimating it could reach up to 80%. It's time to update the entire fleet with high-quality locally produced machinery. We are also encouraged to see young people entering the industry through vocational training programs," Tokayev said, according to his press service.During his visit to the Kostanay region, President Tokayev was informed that AgromashHolding KZ is preparing to sign a contract with the German agricultural machinery manufacturer Amazone. "The assembly of seeding complexes and sprayers will begin at the factory later this year," the President’s press service stated.The localization center employs 700 workers who produce 250,000 parts and components annually.AgromashHolding KZ is a leading producer of agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan. Since the start of the year, the plant has manufactured around 1,000 tractors and 300 combines.Amazone-Werke, based in Hasbergen-Gaste, Germany, is a manufacturer of agricultural and municipal equipment, and is represented in Kazakhstan by its subsidiary, LLP Amazone.
