The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has reported that in October 2024 construction and assembly production shrank by 9.6 % y/y and grew by 1.9 % m/m. In more detail, the statistics compiled by the GUS show that last month construction of buildings decreased by 7.9 % y/y and 1.4 % m/m, civil engineering works declined by 10.2 % y/y and increased by 3 % y/y, with specialized construction activities falling by 10.4 % y/y and surging by 3.8 % on the preceding month.
