Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, announced that the House will be addressing the general budget speech for the fiscal year 2025 today, on Monday. In November 2024, the Council of Ministers approved the draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2025. The upcoming budget is grounded in realistic assumptions and aligns with the goals of the economic modernization vision. It includes earmarked funds to kickstart significant initiatives, including the national water carrier project and the railway connecting the port of Aqaba to the mining regions in Al-Sheidiya and Ghor Al-Safi.
