Foreign direct investments in Georgia reached $197.7 million in the third quarter of 2024, a decrease of 55.2 percent compared to the adjusted figures from the same period in 2023, the National Statistics Office said on Monday.The Office added the downturn in the FDI was attributed to diminished equity and reinvestment levels, along with a reduction in debt instruments available to investors.Equity investments constituted $131.2 million in Q3, making up 66.4 percent of the total foreign direct investment.
