Greek industrial tape company Atlas Tapes has acquired PPM Industries, the Italian tape industry for the construction and automotive sectors, creating an entity with an annual turnover of 270 million euros and a staff of 1,000 people. Atlas Tapes had a turnover of around €170 million last year, with PPM Industries’ consolidated revenues estimated at €100 million. The Greek company secures its leading position in the world tape industry following the acquisition of 100% of PPM Industries. The financing of Atlas’ acquisition of the Italian industry was supported by Eurobank and Alpha Bank.
