The latest statistics compiled by the APPLIA, a Brussels-based trade association representing home appliance manufacturers in Europe, show that in October 2024 alone the production of large domestic appliances in Poland grew by 4.9 % y/y, having increased by 3.9 % during the first ten months of 2024. Sales of small appliances remain strong following the Black Week shopping festival, with customers buying items to help them prepare Christmas dishes and to give as Christmas presents to their loved ones. Meanwhile Amica, a leading manufacturer of household appliances in Poland and globally presented the opinion that throughout 2024 the industry has struggled with slowing consumer spending, in particular in Western Europe.
