Ma Honghan, the press service of the head of the republic's government reported.It is noted that the Chinese company Dalian Hesheng Holdings is the holder of a technological patent in the field of wheat processing and fermentation, using advanced digital technologies."A new investment project for the construction of a vertically integrated industrial park for deep processing of wheat is planned to be implemented in the Akmola region. The amount of investment in the first stage will be $500-800 million, and the second and third stages of the project are estimated at another $1 billion. The processing capacity in the first stage will be 1 million tonnes of wheat with the prospect of increasing to 3 million tonnes per year," the report says.It is also noted that the project includes the construction of a coal-fired thermal power plant and a coal chemical complex. As a result of coal processing, 150,000-400,000 tonnes of liquid ammonia are expected to be produced per year.Construction of the plant is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2025.Following the meeting, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan instructed interested government agencies to conclude an investment agreement with Chinese partners as soon as possible.
