GEORGIA’S SKI RESORT BAKURIANI TO HOST MOGUL WORLD CUP STAGE WITH 91 ATHLETES
Georgia's Bakuriani ski resort is preparing to host a stage of the Mogul World Cup, run under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation, on Friday and Saturday, with 91 athletes from 19 countries taking part, the Ministry of Economy said on Thursday.The competition will take place on Mount Kokhta, recognised by the FIS as the longest mogul track in the world, the Ministry added.The races will be broadcast live on Eurosport, allowing fans around the world to follow the competition involving athletes from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, China, Italy, Germany, Czechia, Finland, Sweden, France, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea and South Africa.The World Cup in Bakuriani is supported by the Government of Georgia, the Ministry of Economy, and the Mountain Trails Agency of the country, along with the Ski Federation's organisational team.
