UKRAINE HAS REACHED PRE-WAR LEVELS OF AGRICULTURAL EXPORTS.
In 2024, Ukraine achieved its pre-war volume of agrarian exports, totaling $24.5B or 59% of total exports, said Minister of Agricultural Policy Vitaly Koval.“This is the second historical record (in 2021, the corresponding amount was $27.7B),” the report says.According to the ministry, Ukraine exported 78.3 million tons of agricultural products last year. The largest export share falls on sunflower oil – 21%, with six million tons of it exported for $5.1B. Corn is in second place with 21%, 29.6 million tons exported for $5B. Wheat is in third place with 15%, 20.6 million tons for $3.7B.At the same time, Ukrainian sugar producers set a record for sugar exports in 2024, sending 746,300 tons to foreign markets for $419M.
